Cheever
Ezekiel Cheever was a school teacher in Boston in 1637, born in England and came to America. He studied at Emmanuel College. He was a founder of New Haven colony, 1693 he opened a school in his house. 1650 he moved back to Mass. Bay area serving as a school teacher from (1650- 1661). He sent a large amount of his pupils to Harvard college. Cheever also wrote the book A Short Introduction to the Latin Tongue. witch was published well into the late 1800s

THE PARAGRAPH BELOW IS IN ERROR, i.e., the Ezekiel Cheever involved in the Salem trials was the son of the above-mentioned Ezekiel Cheever, Sr.

One limitation with this site is that it doesnt tell his involement in the Salem witch trials.
Ezekiel Cheever is the clerk of the court during the trials and his job is to deliver warrants for the arrest of the accused.
